The month of Moharram holds great religious and spiritual significance in Islam. It is the first month of the Islamic lunar calendar and is regarded as one of the four sacred months in which warfare is prohibited. For Muslims across the world, Moharram is a time of deep reflection, remembrance, and spiritual renewal.

One of the most important aspects of Moharram is Ashura, the 10th day of the month, which marks the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (RA), the beloved grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), at the Battle of Karbala. His stand against tyranny and injustice is a timeless message of courage, sacrifice, and faith in truth. For Muslims, this day is observed with mourning, majlis, processions, and fast on this day…
