Rabi' al-Awwal (sometimes spelled Rabi-ul-Awwal) is the third month of the Islamic lunar calendar. It’s a very significant month for Muslims because:
✅ Birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him): The Prophet was born in this month, on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal, according to many scholars. This day is celebrated in many places as Mawlid al-Nabi or Milad-un-Nabi, meaning “the Prophet’s birthday.”
✅ Events in His Life: Several important events in the Prophet’s life, including his migration (Hijrah) from Makkah to Madinah, also happened in or around this month.
✅ Spiritual Importance: Many Muslims increase their prayers, charity, and remembrance of the Prophet
